Account Services Compliance Analyst

Job Description

Golden 1 Credit Union, California’s leading credit union, is looking for an Account Services Compliance Analyst. The Account Services Compliance Analyst, under the direction of the Consumer Loan Servicing Manager assists the Account Services Departments with compliance related activities including regulation research, reviews of policies and procedures, and monitoring activities to support ongoing compliance efforts with governmental regulations. Assist with the development, monitoring, and maintenance of the Account Services' Complaint and Compliance Programs Work with Department Management to conduct reviews and periodic checks to ensure that all credit union Account Services products, policies and procedures, systems and documents are updated and are in accordance with evolving regulations, legal requirements, and industry trends.

The successful candidate must meet the following minimum

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Associate’s degree coupled with commensurate experience in business communications, analysis and/or regulatory compliance, preferred but not required. May be considered if individual demonstrates skill level appropriated for the position. Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) or equivalent strongly encouraged
  • Three years or more related experience with disciplines as noted above with emphasis on regulatory compliance, project management, customer service, branch operations, complaint resolution and problem-solving. Demonstrated competency in and passion for compliance activities
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Compliance Certification (prompt pursuit of or equivalent) required; Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE), NAFCU’s Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO), Certified Bank Compliance Officer (CBCO), and/or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM). Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), or equivalent also desired.
