The Opportunity: We have been retained to identify an experienced Vice President of Product to take over the reins of our client's growing product related offerings. This position will be a key leader in the management of the organization. This Leader will take ownership of their product lines, collaborating with other product line leaders, engage with C level executives, engineering, marketing, service and sales leaders to ensure we continue to bring world class products and innovations. The leader will be responsible for defining and articulating the strategy and vision for the product line, driving the vision through the software development lifecycle and providing ongoing support and communication to the customer support, service and sales organizations. Additionally, this individual is expected to support ongoing communication to the marketplace. As the product leader, this position is responsible for the ongoing product strategy, participating in product portfolio planning and strategy processes, providing market opportunity and competitive insights. The leader will have the responsibility of translating the product strategy into a tangible development roadmap and release plans. Finally, as the "face of the product, the leader provides ongoing support to the internal organization. Collaborating with sales, support and marketing, the leader provides ongoing communication around product issues, capabilities and positioning. In addition, working with marketing, the leader is expected to participate in industry and market facing events. Our clients leaders are expected to possess exceptional leadership and managerial skills in addition to their deep product knowledge. As the focal point for product development, we look to our product leader for clear and brilliant vision as well as strength and innovation in product design and architecture. Our leader ensures that our products consistently deliver on the philosophy of delivering "fully integrated products across our financial, administrative, clinical, analytics and patient-engagement applications. Achieving this requires a commitment to cross-team product portfolio management and collaboration. Your experience should include: 7 or more years of experience in product management leadership. Bachelor's Degree required, additional education a plus. Strong understanding of Java development or previous experience as a Java developer. A strong determination for getting products out-the-door and staying close to the pulse of the client. Ability to create solutions that are repeatable and scalable. Personal Characteristics: You should bring intellectual, professional and personal values that complement the organization.
