Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner
UMMC is searching for an advanced practitioner to join hospital based palliative consultation service at a large, urban academic medical center, to provide bedside palliative patient/family evaluation, assist with diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic health conditions. This role includes providing training and continuing education for staff and collaborative development of clinical practice guidelines/standards in support of quality palliative care.
An advanced practitioner who is Nationally Board certified in Adult, Family or Acute Care and Advanced Hospice and Palliative Nursing (ACHPN). Minimum 5 years nursing experience; clinical care in oncology, hospice, geriatrics or critical care preferred.
