Robert Half Finance and Accounting has team up with a $8 billion + Real Estate Private Equity shop in the DFW area to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Financial Analyst (Real Estate). The role will be responsible for financial planning and analysis for an institutional real estate investment group. The ideal candidate will have an MBA with a CPA highly preferred. GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION This position will support the Real Estate investment team by providing financial planning, analysis, and management reporting on an annual, quarterly, monthly and ad hoc basis. This position will also coordinate and provide regularly requested information to corporate for the combined real estate investment business. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES o Coordinate and prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts for the real estate investment team of the Institutional business. o Prepare monthly financial analysis identifying and understanding risks to the budget, timing issues, or accounting issues to proactively address with management, accounting, and HR for Real Estate. o Present annual budget and forecasts as well as monthly/quarterly results to real estate management as requested. o Prepare monthly and quarterly recurring reporting to corporate as assigned. o Prepare financial modeling for proposed initiatives and new product launches. o Respond to inquiries from corporate and real estate management team. o Identify areas of possible cost savings, revenue enhancement, and efficiency improvements to incorporate into financial planning process. o Serve as a liaison between the business unit and corporate in accounting matters. o Work with Fund Accounting/Corporate Accounting to ensure proper revenue recognition. o Prepare periodic bonus pool calculations in accordance with the plan. o Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and participate in special projects as needed.
