Performs skilled secretarial, bookkeeping, and general office work essential to the operation of the department. Requires good working vocabulary of general, technical, medical and construction terms. Performs assigned duties promptly and efficiently. Complies with instructions from the Engineer, Facilities Development or designee. Provides positive working relationships with co-workers, other University Health System employees, patients, and the general public in the spirit of Guest Relations.
Graduation from high school or equivalency is required. College level courses in English, journalism, bookkeeping or accounting is preferred. Two years secretarial experience is required, five years is preferred. Experience in a hospital or construction environment is preferred. Ability to type sixty (60) words per minute is required.
