Job Description

This position will be
responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day administration and operation of
the Retirement (401k) and other related plans; will work in partnership with
the Benefits Administration Manager and plan recordkeeping administrator to ensure
a high level of service to Bridgestone plan participants.  The successful candidate must have a passion
for excellence in service delivery, and the ability to work successfully in a fast
paced team environment.

- Oversee and administer the daily functions of the 401(k) plans
• Manage regular data file transfer process from the HRIS system to third party administrator and resolve resulting errors/discrepancies from data loads
• Build and manage relationship with third party administrator
• Develop and document regular controls and practices to validate the accuracy and efficiency of processes
• Review and analyze reporting provided by third party administrator and make recommendations for communications or administration changes based on outcomes
• Assist in the collection and preparation of plan financials, participation rates and other statistics for quarterly meetings
• Manage and resolve escalated plan participant issues effectively and promptly
• Work closely with benefits strategy team to implement plan changes
• Facilitate the completion of required annual plan audits, communications and filings in partnership with the Compliance Manager.
• Work closely with other business partners, including payroll and IT to accomplish plan related objectives and program efficiencies
• Oversee and administer daily functions and file related processes for the Health Savings Account plan


Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of related experience 
• In-depth working knowledge of 401(k) plan administration
• Preferred experience working for large national employer.

• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Project management skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in fast paced changing environment
• Full functional knowledge of Excel and MS Word
