CENTRAL STERILE PROCESSING MANAGER
Assesses and maintains standards of practice for reprocessing reusable medical devices, procurement and assemblage of supplies, carts, and instruments, as well as checking, cleaning, storing, and distributing patient related equipment. Responsible for the economic operation of Sterile Processing Department, the manager develops and ensures adherence to high quality standars of performance, communication and teamwork. Provides education of staff, and fosters an environment where each associate contributes to overall success of the team. Participates in the development of policies and procedures. Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of Florida, BSN and/or related management degree required. Central Service manager IAHCSMM Certification required. CNOR preferred. Minimum of two years Sterile Processing management, minimum of five years of experience as OR Staff nurse preferred. Basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office.
