Job Title: BI Data Architect/ BI Architect/Tech Lead
Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: 3 months temp to perm
(1) BI ENGAGEMENT MANAGER: 1 position
•The client BI Engagement Manager establishes and maintains the client relationship for the BI engagement and serves as the primary contact for the planning and delivery of all BI projects and BI support provided to the client.
•Works with the client to establish direction as well as strategic plans, tactical plans and goals.
•Provides oversight, guidance and reviews for all project deliverables from technical design documents through project management deliverables.
•Deeply involved in the upfront planning, resourcing and scheduling of BI projects as they ramp up.
•Assumes ultimate responsibility for the delivery of BI services to the client
•Assists and/or leads the client in developing and/or enhancing their BI direction and strategy.
•Recommends and coordinates the development, enhancement, and maintenance of BI solutions, business processes, and products
•Manages partner relationships, as appropriate
•Work with the client on cost estimations, work order management and budgeting
•Part of the account leadership team
•Excellent relationship building and communication skills with partners, leadership, team members
•Executive presence and presentation skills
•Ability to work with executive-level decision makers
•Holistic business acumen to drive successful delivery and enable further business growth
•General experience in IT consulting, and/or management
•Large scale BI implementation experience using Oracle Database, Informatica, OBIEE.
•Experience building and managing Data Governance programs
•Project management experience
•BI business and technical knowledge and ability to provide thought leadership
•Industry knowledge of Health and Human Services, including Eligibility
•Requirements determination and management skills
•Financial management experience in estimating, budgeting, pricing, risk assessment
•Resource management and ability to understand skill sets required for the project
•Networking skills – to bring in other BI expertise when needed.
(2) BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ARCHITECT AND TECHNICAL LEAD: 1 position
Person will be responsible for the design, development, documentation and quality assurance of the technical architecture of business intelligence solutions that will support functional design.
Participate in the gathering of functional requirements as well as the functional design process
•Conferring with the client to gather technical requirements such as performance, maintainability and scalability
•Producing business intelligence solution design documentation
•Setting development standards
•Leading business intelligence reporting design
•Ensuring architectural alignment of the designs and development done
•Communicating the status of the implementation to the project manager
•Managing the approval and acceptance process for the technical architecture in cooperation with the client
(3) BI DATA ARCHITECT: 1 position
•Designs and builds relational and dimensional databasesdata models.
•Defines and monitors adherence to data modeling, data naming, and other data related standards.
•Performs data access analysis design, and archive/recovery design and implementation.
•Develops strategies for data acquisitions.
•Works in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, data architecture, and metadata repository creation.
•Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions.
•Reviews other data modelers models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
•Experience with a range of high volume data environments
•Exceptional XML development skills
•Demonstrated Schema and XSLT development skills
•Expert Data Modeling skills
