Job Description

The Pricing Manager is responsible for managing specific aspects of pricing as assigned by the Region Pricing Manager.  The candidate provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining procedures and policies that are focused on pricing accuracy and profit maximization.
•         Coordinate with district, branch and purchasing management to explore and find solutions for margin expansion
•         Manage pricing execution, including data integrity and consistency
•         Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and margins
•         Determine customer segmentation and buying behavior re-classifications
•         Review and approve non-standard pricing requests
•         Take ownership of process improvements and drive to successful implementation
•         Manage and consistently perform branch general price recalibrations
•         Implement price improvements fed from pricing analysts
•         Provide formal and informal training related to various aspects of pricing and margin to all applicable personnel
•         Oversee and reduce price override
•         Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements

•         Strong background in pricing structures and techniques
•         Willingness to travel more than 30%
•         Exceptional leadership skills with ability to teach and help others professionally
•         Excellent communication and analytical skills, especially in regards to ensuring accurate customer pricing
•         Strategic thinking skills with strong business analytic skills sets, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
•         Demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities
•         Electrical product knowledge
•         Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while setting priorities, managing a diversity of job responsibilities with effective organizational skills, and working within deadlines EXPERIENCE
•         Minimum of 3 years of equivalent work experienceEDUCATION
•         Bachelor's degree required
