Senior Quality Data Analyst
Provides technical and methodological design consultation, database development, data management, statistical analysis and results interpretation/reporting for a variety of internal and external projects. Responsibilities include utilization of mainframe databases for the identification of appropriate study populations; data management, analysis planning and statistical analysis of data collected from data sources, patient surveys and grant/funding source reports. Also develops complex reports from large, relational databases; and prepares policy statements and recommendations to assist UHS to improve the quality of patient services. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in the use of UHS materials and property.
BS/BA degree required. MS/MA degree preferred. Minimum of two years experience in working with healthcare data and information is required. Experience in statistical data analysis and preparation of QI or related reports is preferred. Experience writing grant proposals or conducting analyses on large databases is preferred. Must be an intermediate level user of Microsoft Access and SPSS.
