JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist customers in finding employment by forging relationships with employers to meet their hiring needs.  Successfully match the skills and abilities of the customer to the right employment opportunities, identified by the individual retaining the job for more than a year.  Other administrative responsibilities and multiple roles throughout the Program as needed.

  • Meets and understands the skills of the customers to identify and discuss barriers to employment, as well as how to best overcome and present them to employers
  • Provides assistance in finding employment for customers through use of all community resources
  • Experience working with a hard-to-place candidate pool and providing guidance on how best to specificly market themseleves to specific employers.
  • Successfully matches the skills and abilities of the customer to the right employment opportunities so the individual is successful in retaining the job
  • Manages the day-to-day relationship with customers, address customers concerns promptly with an action plan to ensure satisfaction; document sall findings with case notes in a clear, concise, and timely manner
  • Maintains successful development and management of employers within the community as well as adjacent to the community to address their hiring needs
  • Understands the employer hiring needs and refers the best candidates to the position
  • Maintains good standards of communications with existing accounts for effective feedback and follow up
  • Meets all Customer placement goals
  • Successfully fills placement goals and increases wage goals within our Program’s Target Sectors according to Customer standards
  • Maintains and displays active job bank through creative means meeting RWS and Customer standards including posting open positions on the Program’s Job Boards
  • Maintains effective communication and coordination to other team members to ensure program performance goals are achieved
  • Participates in Quarterly Job Fair’s to promote the program and help placement goals
  • Provides motivational support to customers during the job search process
  • Successfully documents customer success stories internally and externally
  • Administratively maintains accurate and complete records and correspondence as required by the Program Director and according to standards set by Customer and RWS
  • Creates and maintains policies and procedures for Account Management Team and assists in the training of other team members in those guidelines
  • Assists in the creation and implementation of the program's annual SOP, Strategic Operating Plan
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Develops strategizes; weekly, monthly, and quarterly for sector and employer activity
  • Implements successful advertising strategies to increase participation in onsite recruitments, job fairs and other program sponsored activities aimed at filling job placement goals
  • Provides employer hiring plans that allow for the long term sustainability of the relationship
  • Successfully transitions employer relationships to the fullfillment side of the Account Management Team
  • Cold call and door to door employer contacts daily

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education/Certificates/Licenses/Registrations

BA/BS marketing, business, human resources or related fields. Relevant Work experience: three years plus. Recruitment/Staffing Industry experience: five years plus. Account management experience: three years plus. High volume work environment, particularly in human services, workforce development or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of employment laws as they apply to the hiring process. Strong communication and organization skills, computer skills, publishing skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.  The ability to relate well with individuals, ability to motivate, and posses experience in working with individuals having one or more barriers to employment. Knowledge of various job search strategies, resources and actions plans. Ability to follow instructions well. Adaptable, flexible, and a fast learner. Creative and able to meet deadlines. Works well under pressure and goal oriented and works well within a team concept.
