Restaurant Kitchen Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Management responsibilities for the BOH of a casual dining restaurant
  • Ensure food safety policies are upheld at all times (storage, handling, tracking expirations, etc.)
  • Direct kitchen staff
  • Ensure recipe adherence
  • Ensure quality and portion control meets company guidelines
  • Work with the management team in maintenance and upkeep of the unit
  • Inventory / ordering / receiving
  • Other tasks as assigned to ensure compliant, smooth operations
 

Job Requirements


Job Requirements for the Restaurant Kitchen Manager position:

1.Thorough knowledge of Food & Labor cost calculation and spreadsheet formulation.
2.Detail and accuracy skills.
3.Ability to effectively communicate (oral/written) ideas and information.
4.Ability to lead and develop kitchen Team Members.
5.Ability to work in an organized fashion with minimal supervision.
6.Ability to follow Federal, State & Company safety and sanitation procedures.
