Job Description

Main Event Entertainment is a fast growing Dallas-based company founded in 1998, operating family entertainment centers in the southern US. The company's high energy, high volume facilities range in size from 50,000 to 75,000 square feet and host a variety of attractions that appeal to people of all ages.

Guests can enjoy bowling, billiards, laser tag, ropes courses, glow golf, bocce ball, rock climbing, or choose from hundreds of interactive amusement games. Our multi-venue family entertainment centers feature full service restaurants and bars as well as fast casual restaurant offerings, great food and much more in a fun, clean and comfortable environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet party/event and lead them through different activities that they scheduled
  • Monitor that party is going according to schedule.  Report any time variance or requested add-ons to management
  • Gather and store birthday gifts and cake.  Assist with the recording of gifts and lighting candles/cutting birthday cake
  • Communicate with guests using clear, enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times.  Make guests feel appreciated
  • Be alert and anticipate guest's needs
  • Serve food and beverages as required
  • Arrange for availability of audio-visual, displays or other needs
  • Interact and participate with group during party/event
  • Process payment transactions thanking the guest by name
  • Set up and/or clean up room for party/event
  • Attend all scheduled meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or directed by Company management


Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Possess and maintain a current knowledge of the Main Event facilities and activities; including the services and products for customer purchase
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail; strong organizational ability; ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
