Quality/Process Improvement Manager - CFHP HEDIS
Manages quality and process improvement activities in coordination with health plan staff. Initiates and/or provides oversight of new and ongoing programs/projects related to clinical, non-clinical and service process improvement. Assist with leadership, coordination, and management of the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) performance evaluation and HEDIS-related quality improvement projects.
BA/BS in Management, Business, or other healthcare related degree from an accredited four year institution. Registered Nurse with HEDIS/NCQA, Six Sigma or process improvement background is preferred. Masters degree in business or health related field is preferred. Project Management experience with a focus on HEDIS project management is required. Data analysis, statistical analysis and software applications experience required. Strong clinical or public health experience required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. CPHQ and managed care experience preferred. Understanding of and commitment to HIPAA is required.
If candidate is a Nurse, must be a registered nurse currently licensed in the State of Texas.
