The Computer Forensics and Intrusion Analysis (CFIA) Branch of ManTech MCIS is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Systems Engineer in the San Antonio, TX area. This is a rewarding and highly challenging position with direct support and significant impact to operations of national security. In this role, you&ll have the opportunity to work in a challenging and exciting work environment with a flexible work schedule. You&ll be working on mission critical projects that directly work to safeguard our country.

Major Job Functions:
• Establish complex operational databases, software configuration control and system interfaces for computer system(s) as assigned.
• Maintain file servers, network access, document, analyze, and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
• Prepare system for operational use and support operational tests.
• Applies digital forensic analysis, intrusion analysis, data recovery, malware analysis, and reverse engineering techniques for identifying and characterizing cyber threats
• Develops, researches, and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends related to data hiding, covert communications, encryption, network security, and offensive and defensive cyber operations
• Assists in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating, and analyzing cyber intrusions
• Prescribes cyber security best practices and anit-malware techniques to address weaknesses in cyber assets and combat sophisticated threats against those assets

• Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor&s degree in one of the following disciplines: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, software Engineering or a related field preferred

Job Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience with a minimum of six months experience in one or more of the following: computer network penetration testing and techniques; computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery; computer intrusion analysis and incident response, intrusion detection; computer network surveillance/monitoring; network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architectures. Ability to obtain a security clearance.
