Job Description

- Perform independent hands-on risk assessments to identify significant information      security risks and oversee compliance with numerous regulatory and industry control requirements. Includes application, system, infrastructure, process and vendor security risk assessments to determine compliance with IT Policies and Standards, regulations such as JSOX, GLBA,  PCI , HIPAA, NIST, and others as may be applicable.
• Work with Risk Management on IT issues around Risk Assessments.  Identify and communicate recommended/required security controls for business units.
• Assist in creating Risk Scenarios, KPI’s, KRI’s and Risk Appetite.
• Evaluate existing controls and KRI’s for their effectiveness.
• Maintain broad knowledge of best practices and trends in the field of Information      Security.
• Partners closely with peer Security Analysts and IT resources to complete projects on time and on budget.
• Effectively communicates to the manager and partners with appropriate stakeholders across Bridgestone Americas.


Job Requirements

- Minimum 4 year college degree required, preferably in IT
• Knowledge/Experience of LANs, WAN, VPNs, Routers, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems required.
• Relevant information security certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP or comparable) preferred.
• Knowledge/Experience in Business Continuity concepts and framework preferred
• Strong communication & organizational skills, ability to multi-task, strong attention to details, excellent problem solving and follow-up skills required.
• Must possess and exhibit a high level of integrity and passion for the disciplines of Information Security & Risk.
• Prefer minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Security for companies of similar size.
• Ability and experience working across multiple business and IT organizations.
Experience and proven ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively
