Litigation Support Manager /Project Manager Downtown Law Firm! Our client, a leading national law firm, is looking for a Litigation Support Manager/Litigation Support Paralegal/ Senior Project Manager to manage large document intensive litigation projects for attorneys and paralegals at the firm. You will be responsible for the running of complex and large electronic discovery projects and liasoning with the attorneys and paralegals at the firm. Significant litigation support and 5 plus years of litigation software experience; managing large discovery projects are required for this position. Team spirit and project management experience are essential. Six Sigma experience is a plus. Responsibilities and Primary Activities: Manage project timeliness and monitor negotiated schedules and budgets when necessary including preparation of estimates, schedules and regular status reports for assigned cases. Develop litigation support service budget estimates, write Requests For Proposals to vendors, analyze vendor proposal responses and make recommendations to case teams. Coordinate the set up and maintenance of in-house processing and review projects including technical data management activities. Provide operation briefings to the Director, Managers and E-Discovery Counsel. Develop technology solutions for litigation discovery projects. Work with Attorneys and Paralegals to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded. Serve as a point of contact for case teams regarding database design, document review processes, electronic discovery, legal related software and hardware needs, case management tools and trial support. Build, configure, and maintain litigation databases. Manage and coordinate projects for internal resources including drafting project plans, work orders, processing instructions and specifications. Schedule and coordinate projects including preparing and evaluating project specific requests for proposals and preparing statement of work. The ideal candidate will have a four year degree or equivalent and minimum of 5 years Litigation Support Project Management Experience. Law firm experience and a JD degree are preferred. Basic hardware and network systems knowledge; RCA (Relativity Certified Admin); and CEDS (Certified E-Discovery Specialist) are also preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of the litigation process from initial filing through trial; experience with Relativity, West Case Notebook, CaseMap, Concordance and other widely used E-Discovery applications; and have proven success in Project Management implementation and ability to handle multiple projects.
