Responsible for development and oversight of the System’s behavioral health projects including those related to all aspects of the Texas Health Care Transformation and Quality Improvement Program and necessary collaboration with internal and community stakeholders. Develops, monitors and reports all quality outcome data related to Behavioral Health. Provides administrative support for the Chief of Behavioral Medicine.
Masters degree in Nursing, Social Work, Counseling, Health Administration, Public Health, or Public Administration preferred. Licensure per respective discipline in Texas required. Five years of experience in administrative program oversight with increasing level of responsibility is required as applicable. A minimum of 3 years clinical or administrative experience, or its equivalent, in a health related agency is highly recommended. Familiarity and previous experience collaborating with community stakeholders and knowledge of behavioral health resources within Bexar County is highly desirable.
