Classification: Graphic User Interface Designer

The Jr. User Experience Architect is responsible for developing web, mobile and cross channel user experience designs through individual contribution and participation in teams. You will use user centered design methods to develop deliverables such as wireframes, site heuristic reviews, site maps, process flows, user flows, design specifications, usability test results analyses, etc. An Architects goal is to translate user needs, business objectives and technology capabilities into awesome user experiences. Responsibilities: - Learning and creating UX deliverables such as site maps, user flows, wireframes and design specifications - Follows established practices and style guidelines when designing experience solutions and understands the rationale for their use and level of importance - Collaborating with project managers, designers and a cross-functional client teams including representatives from marketing, product management, engineering, quality assurance and customer support - Attend and participate in project reviews; collaborates with the User Experience group in the development and promotion of, and compliance to, experience design standards
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience or equivalent - Bachelors Degree in a design related discipline, human computer interaction or related field - Knowledge of user-centered design methods and web design principles - Excellent verbal and written skills (both technical and non-technical) - Agency or Consulting experience a plus, including internships Preferred Skills - Translating user research findings into design decisions - Distilling and organizing large amounts of complex information into simple, useful, and usable application designs - Creating detailed design specifications - Applying modular and systematic approaches to user experience design - Designing navigation, interaction and nomenclature systems - Conducting heuristic analysis and assessments - Proficiency with rapid prototyping and design tools such as Axure, Omnigraffle, PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc - Familiarity with HTML, DHTML & Javascript - Ability to work with business leaders in a consultative fashion - Understand business objectives and design applications that achieve them If you are interested in the above opportunity and meet the minimum requirements please email your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resume]
