Regional Clinical Research Associate Opportunity

Kelly Clinical Research is seeking candidates for a long term contract Regional Clinical Research Associate (RCRA) position.  Candidates can be based in any of the following areas: Northern Florida/Southern Georgia, New York/New Jersey, Louisiana or East Texas.  The CRA may support 5-10 protocols of short duration (4-6 weeks long) at any given time so the amount of travel will vary from 20-70%.  The travel regions are Southeast and mid-Atlantic but may vary based on study needs.

In general the Regional Clinical Research Associate (RCRA) is responsible for monitoring human clinical trials in compliance with internal standard operating procedures, ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and applicable Regulations and Guidances. The RCRA monitors and secures protocol and regulation compliance at investigational sites; reviews, retrieves, and reports the trial data as the requirements dictate or as is appropriate; reviews and reconciles site and sponsor essential documents and other study-related documents; assists in study implementation, which may include: investigator recruitment, site management, IRB liaison, Adverse Event management, Periodic Report generation, and/or supplier oversight; performs other related duties as assigned by management, including process improvements and coaching new employees.

Job duties include:
• Conduct remote review of assigned site clinical data in electronic capture system according to SOPs.
• Conduct on site monitoring of clinical data according to GCP, SOPs, and applicable requirements.
• Review EDC systems for trends and issues related to primary, secondary objectives, protocol deviations and adverse events and provide status tracker to Clinical Research Managers.
• Conduct training of clinical sites and staff as required
• Complete site visit confirmation, monitoring reports, follow-up letters, and CAPAs according to Sponsor SOPs as required.
• Other duties as required

Requirements:
• B.S. or B.A. from a certified four year institution in the area of science, research, or other applicable health care administration field.
• Minimum of two years of regional CRA experience at a level 2 or higher for a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other research
• Must have Device experience
• Prefer experience with ophthalmology therapeutic area
