What we need:

KSDK is seeking a key Accounts AE to develop brand new and incremental revenue, focused on the customer’s Return on Investment.  Retains and grows existing key accounts through Insight proposals, proof of performance, and maximizing station assets.

  • Creates a strategic business plan with manager to achieve total revenue goals.
  • Develops advertising solutions for new customers that deliver results to their customers.
  • Upsells current customers by providing proof of performance and solid results.
  • Works at least 10 TARGET accounts in the pipeline at all times. Replenishes as these accounts emerge.
  • Sources for at least 10 EXTRA accounts (prospects) in the pipeline at all times.  Replenishes as these accounts emerge.
  • Conducts Needs Analyses and account reviews to uncover the customer’s most essential needs.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of key vertical segments and constantly seeks to learn more
  • Able to demonstrate product knowledge and value to their customers.
  • Able to explain the benefits of Digital and its integration with TV, in tandem with digital personnel.
  • Communicates effectively with external clients and internal personnel.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Organizes and prioritizes to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Effectively negotiates with customers to meet a winning return on investment.
  • Collaborates with Account Manager to provide timely and accurate traffic instructions; conducts account maintenance including make-goods posts, and aging/collections.
  • In collaboration with Account Manager, creates and delivers formal written and verbal presentations to clients.
  • Stays abreast of details requiring immediate attention.
  • Uses CRM to manage day to day activity, build a pipeline and ensure execution.
  • Uses CRM tool for projections, weekly.

What you need:

  • Minimum 3 years successfully selling a range of advertising solutions.
  • Media experience preferred.
  • Experience building a pipeline of accounts.
  • Highly developed time management skills to prioritize activities
  • Adapts to change, expert problem- solving skills and strong financial acumen.
