Job Description

We are looking to hire a strong



IT Desktop Administrator



for a permanent, full time role in Jacksonville, FL with a large, well known IT engineering company. We are looking to interview and hire as soon as possible.









DUTIES:






Provide 2nd and 3rd tier onsite and remote support to enterprise-level end users with hardware, custom and third party software applications, networks, telephony systems, AS400, Active Directory, and application security issues






Provide expert and creative solutions to user problems of complex nature to ensure user satisfaction and productivity






Research, resolve, and respond to highly complex questions in accordance with current standards






Act as the first level of escalation for user problems within the IT Help Desk






Provide world class IT support to internal and external customers






Manage Help Desk tickets per established SLA and take initiative to complete assigned tasks and resolve technical related issues across the organization






Research, resolve, and respond to complex questions in accordance with current standards






Apply expert knowledge of hardware, custom and third party software applications, networks, telephony systems, Windows AD, AS 400, and application security to analyze and prioritize and resolve issues within corporate Service Level Agreement (SLA)






Act as 3rd tier support for IT Help Desk staff and apply expert and creative solutions to user problems of complex nature to ensure user satisfaction and productivity






Attend training sessions as requested and respond to all work related communications in a timely manner






Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide technically accurate solutions to help-desk users






Develop and provide expert technical training and to other help-desk employees and company staff as needed






Consistently model the highest levels of support orientation and professionalism






QUALIFICATIONS:






3+ years of progressive IT Help Desk experience






Experience working with IT ticketing tools






Experience providing onsite and remote IT administration and support






Advanced experience in IT Help Desk environment






Desired: Microsoft PC related certifications/training or other PC related certifications: A+, Network +, or other network certifications/trainings
