Behavioral Health Care Advocates/Care Managers

Licensed LSWs, LPCs, RNs (Psychiatric), LMFTs

Primary responsibilities for a Behavioral Care Advocate include: 

  •  Concurrent care management, effectively influencing facility treatment toward best practices and ongoing stabilization and well-being for our members. Independent management of daily caseloads, collaborating with other clinicians and MDs.

  •  Assessment and Triage Queue-based Care Advocate: Assessing inpatient, residential, and partial treatment needs based on Level of Care Guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Licensed Clinical mental health professional(LSW, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC)at the independent practice level or Psychiatric RN

  • 2 or more years post-licensure experience in facility-based behavioral health environment or in a managed care setting

  • Computer proficiency in windows-based systems

  •  Effective negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Organizational and time management skills to work independently on caseload.

  •  Strong clinical conceptualization/diagnostic skills.
