Scientific Research Corporation, a leading Research and Development Company providing innovative solutions focused on advanced commercial technologies in the development of wireless communications, information, and sensor systems for the Department of Defense Service Sector, Government and Commercial industries, has an exciting career opportunity for a Threat Manager located at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska.
The Program Manager/Threat Manager (PM/TM) duties and responsibilities for the Integrated Support for Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex (JPARC) will include operations and maintenance (O&M) of complex Threat Systems, support equipment, system spare parts, special tools, test equipment, and depot level documentation. Supervision of a diverse staff of engineers and personnel necessary to field and operate systems to represent realistic Threat capabilities for Red Flag Alaska exercises based at Eielson Air Force Base located near Fairbanks, Alaska, and similar events with the USAF. PM/TM will be responsible to ensure all delivered equipment is kept in fully operational order and meets the requirements as set forth by the end user and applicable contract. This program will include full life cycle support, engineering support, technical inspections, foreign and domestic acquisitions, tests and evaluations, domestic and international transportation, site surveys, logistics, storage, maintenance, operations, sustainment, mission support and training. PM/TM will serve as SRC permanent onsite manager at JPARC and they will perform technical management oversight duties of the range Threat support team on a daily basis, as the Project Management Office's technical representative.

Bachelors degree in a related field with 10+ years experience managing and leading range or DOD programs
Previous experience in PACAF and Alaska primarily focused on the JPARC Range and Red Flag Alaska Operations
Recent experience with threat systems
Recent experience with operational use and employment of advanced threat systems and simulators
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Graduate of appropriate Service or Joint PME
Previous Squadron or Group Command
Experience in systems engineering, with emphasis on systems integration
Knowledge of Red Flag Alaska structure and PACAF leadership/support team
Past experience managing threat systems or range operations
Previous experience managing DOD contracts and contract personnel
