Provides for the safety and security of patients, visitors and staff consistent with the mission and values of UM Rehab & Ortho Institute, and in accordance within the scope of practice, professional, and regulatory standards. Accountable to the Coordinator of Security Services for processes and outcomes. Serves as a fully engaged member of the interdisciplinary team. Participates in cost effective strategies that optimize the hospital's culture of safety.
A minimum of one (1) year of security experience is required. Non-Crisis Intervention Training (NCI) certification required, upon completion of the probationary period but before the annual review.
