POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will plan, manage and coordinate central corridor hospital based on boarding and orientation and will be a part of the Regional facilitation team for New Associate Orientation. Provide a wide range of professional Human Resources services in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.  Areas of responsibility include employee relations, facilitating the resolution of various Human Resources problems, providing basic compensation and benefits administration, as well as support to employees and management staff consistent with the philosophy and values of the facility. In addition, this position will perform HR special projects/training such as peer interviewing, training, etc.


Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Two years’ experience in Human Resources

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Responsible for central corridor new hire orientation (scheduling, materials, presentation upkeep and facilitation)
  • Act as a point of contact for new hires as they progress through the pre-hire process into employment.
  • Regularly scheduled presenter for Regional NAO; provides back up for facilitators when needed.
  • Tracks 30/90 day stay engagement interviews
  • Conducts180 day personal touch points with all employees. May work to set up forum schedules or other employee touch point meetings with CEO, CNO, CFO as requested.
  • Conducts exit interviews as required for departments with high turnover
  • Assist in the development and facilitation of ongoing employee/staff training as scheduled (ie: Health for Life training, Peer Interview Training, etc.)
  • Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and helping resolve work related problems.
  • Plans and coordinates special events/activities in association with providing representation on employee teams
  • Work in conjunction with the central corridor HR departments to help ensure consistency of practice.
  • Other ongoing assignments/projects (maintain disciplinary action log, assist with HML tracking, calculating years of experience for market adjustments.
