Sales Productivity Trainer

The Sales Productivity Trainer role is a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients in Morrisville, NC. Target salary range is $55,000 - $65,000. Need shift flexibility.  During the new hire training classes, will be in the classroom M-F 8am – 6pm.  When not training, up to two weeks per month, need to be available to be in the field with the direct sales representatives from 11am – 8pm. Local candidates strongly preferred. No sponsorship available.

The Sales Productivity Trainer is responsible for the creation and ongoing delivery of training programs for all client facing representatives as well as the reporting and analysis of key performance indicators related to sales productivity. You must be extremely well organized, quality-minded, and effective at delivering impactful training sessions in various work settings. He or she will report to the Manager of Sales Productivity and be responsible for training new and existing employees on sales and product related processes.

Responsibilities of the Sales Productivity Trainer:
  • Own the Onboarding process for new Sales and Client Success team members. Ensure team members and managers have a successful 30 day launch plan to follow to successfully ramp up new team members.
  • Create, deliver, and revise trainings for existing sales and client success team members as needed
    • Curriculums to include sales methodology, time management, territory management, CRM best practices, industry knowledge, and other related topics
    • Develop tools/processes to empower team managers to assess and reinforce training curriculums
  • Organize and ensure accuracy of sales / client operations resource repository including product collateral, presentations, case studies, pricing, sales tools, proposals, talking points and contracts
  • Develop reports and processes for measuring and analyzing the productivity of the sales force including CRM reporting tools as well as other reporting tools as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales / client services effectiveness and facilitate the implementation of best practices across the organization

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications of the Sales Productivity Trainer:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, communications or related area
  • 2+ years of training experience (sales training experience is a plus)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a consultative sales process
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing training programs
  • Unquestioned integrity & commitment to team objectives
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive at learning a lot quickly
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Google Docs
  • Flexible and interested in a small company with lots of growth opportunity
