Job Description

Hamilton Company is looking for a Customer Service Representative in a busy office environment. Individual must be able to multi task efficiently in a fast paced environment and perform under pressure, be a team player and work well with others, have a strong work ethic and positive attitude, excellent organization and written communication skills, computer skills, follow procedures, general office skills, problem solving and decision making, and ability to learn basic company product lines.

Job responsibilities include:

  •  General office duties including organization, filing, mailing, copying, fax, e-mail etc. 

  • Customer support including literature request, sample request, product availability request, special made product request, special shipping method request, and expediting orders, etc.

  • Responsible for order processing including, invoicing, order input, order monitoring, credits, new accounts, etc.     

  • Coordinate communication between customer service personnel, service persons, and provide information and reports as needed.   

  • Previous customer service experience in an order processing environment required.

  • Coordinate communication between customer service personnel, service, sales and marketing, and provide information and reports as needed.

  • Previous customer service experience in an order processing environment a plus.

Job Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.   
  • Working knowledge of computers and programs.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to work harmoniously within the department as well as interfacing with all other departments.
  • Stable work history  
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent.

 

Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
