Job Description

Our client is one of the largest fabricators of foams, molded fiber and specialty materials in North America and has multiple locations throughout the United States.

They need a Quality Manager who has managed customer relationships while balancing the goals and objectives of the business.

  • The primary role for the Quality Manager is the execution of the quality function in Massachusetts and is also be responsible for proposing organizational changes designed to support current and future growth initiatives thru out the corporation
  • The Quality Manager will plan, direct and coordinate the development, application, and maintenance of all quality systems for inspecting incoming product, raw material, in-process material and products through to a finished product
  • This is a “customer facing” position which requires an ability to create confidence when dealing with customer quality complaints and is responsible for all customer and ISO audits
  • The Quality Manager must have a proven track record of success preferably in a multi plant, fast paced, job shop or contract manufacturing environment and have interest in an opportunity with growth potential.

 

Job Requirements

Quality Manager for Lawrence MA

 

  • Quality Manager must have a BS degree prefer engineering, science or business
  • Quality Manager must have experience in a multi plant environment, preferably with a job shop or contract manufacturer or companies supplying into the medical device and instrumentation fields Must have
  • Quality Manager should have experience in an ISO environment specifically ISO 9000 & 13485
  • Quality Manager must have full understanding of the IQ, OQ, PQ, quality requirements and a working knowledge of product sterilization, bioburden, cGMP and team based problem solving tools and MiniTab
  • Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE or ASQ) are a plus
  •  
  • US citizenship or Permanent Residency required
