Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Integration Technician who will perform the following duties:

-Read & interpret engineering assembly drawings, procedures, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) & shop standards required for spacecraft integration.

-Comm panel integration

-Installation of active & passive flight components, structural sub-assemblies, RF waveguides, coax cables, DC harness & thermal blankets.

-Maintain all S/C integration associated shop floor paperwork.

-Perform advanced S/C tasks while working from ladders, platforms & man-lifts up to 18 feet high & while in confined spaces such as S/C interiors, thermal vacuum & acoustic chambers.

-May handle or work in vicinity of various hazardous materials.

-Tool Room support.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following position requirements:

-Some overtime & holiday work required.

-Must be able to become certified in: ESD Awareness, Contamination Control, Flight Hardware Handling, DC Connector Mate/Demate, Flight Adhesives bonding, Thermal Compound Bonding, and Component Torque.

The client is a Government Contractor and thus requires US Citizenship or Green Card
