Red Bridge has an immediate opening for a Big Data Pre-Sales Solution Consultant for a full time opportunity with one of our clients to work in their Big Data Group. We do not work with third parties and can not work with candidates that require sponsorship.  




Big Data Pre-Sales Solution Consultant Job Description:

As part of the software sales team, participate in the Cloud based big data sales process to facilitate sales of software. Lead the engagement with customers and prospects to gather high level customer business and technical requirements, understand existing information technology infrastructure and determine customers business needs as part of the sales effort. Utilizing advanced knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices and competitive differentiation, support product and solution positioning by leading the preparation and delivery of demonstrations of the technical capabilities of the proposed solutions to customers using customized and standard material. Speak with authority and be a trusted advisor on our customer's business issues, and how SISW can improve their business. Lead the selection of appropriate suites of technology, the development of proposals for customer process improvement which ensure the interoperability and effectiveness of the overall solution within the context of the customer’s business. Works on highly complex issues/projects. May provide guidance and mentoring to others on the capabilities and business value of the Company's products and solutions.

Big Data Pre-Sales Solution Consultant Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understands business use case scenarios that will drive value.
  • Understand customer user scenarios that will drive value.
  • Work with customer, companies solution consultant to define data formats for each of their sources.
  • Gain intimate knowledge of the customer's data and business landscape to produce solution designs and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the customer on methods to improve source data quality as needed.
  • Provide feedback to Produce Management Team on feature gaps and enhancements to improve the data integration platform's efficienty andefficacy, scalability and time to market.
  • Through example, build trust and a strong working relationship with the prospect customers.





Job Requirements


Big Data Pre-Sales Solution Consultant Minimum Requirements:

  • Well versed in the data integration in a big data ecosystem (i.e. Apache pig, hive, Map-reduce, commercial ETL tools).
  • Knowledgeable of the relevant technologies in a big data analytics solution development environment including but not limited to Hadoop framework, Java and data science.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation and organization skills.
  • Strong project management understanding.
  • PLM, ERP, or MES design experience.
  • Possess strong sense of teamwork, integrity, and self-motivation with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments and technologies.
