                                                     CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Star Furniture
sells bedroom, dining room, living room, and home office furniture, rugs and home furnishing accessories.

Star Furniture has an opening at our Westside headquarters in our warehouse office for a FULL TIME Customer Service Representative. 

The successful candidate should be positive, motivated, and energetic individual who can work a flexible schedule that may include Saturdays and Sundays and until 7 p.m. on a regular basis.

The basic purpose of the job is:  Service the customers in a cheerful manner on the phone, or in person, and determine a resolution for their problem.

 

The essential functions of the job are:

  • Answer the phone in a business friendly manner, and follow through in resolving a problem for customers, store associates, technicians and delivery drivers’.

 

 

  1. Follow up on e-mails, and voice mails at least once every 30 minutes
  2. Cross train and/or provide coverage in other depts. as needed up to and including schedule changes

 

 

 


 

 Working relationships:

This position reports to the Customer Relations Director.  Candidate must be able to communicate, and work well with others in a team environment

Job Requirements

 

Knowledge, skills and equipment required:

  • Reading, writing and communication skills in English
    • Flexibility in covering other office functions as needed
  1. Ability to deal with customers in a calm and patient manner
  2. Equipment: Computer, telephone, fax, copier, and scanner.
  3. Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute
