Reservations/Sales Specialist

Job Description

Responsible for the active selling and promotion on inbound and outbound telephone calls. Will respond to customer inquiries in a prompt, courteous and professional manner, and provide detailed information on products and services offered. Responsible for managing client accounts and booking progression from initial contact, to booking, sailing and return home.

-Sell RV Resort lots.
-Comply with Vacation Planning standards and best practices as communicated by management.
-Process reservations, revisions and cancellations using reservation system.
-Demonstrate a strong functional knowledge of the product.
-Monitor bookings from option period through follow-up on payment requirements.
-Complete and forward required accounting paperwork to adjust reservations.
-Adhere to company policy and procedure.
-Advise supervisor of all problems in a timely manner.
-Complete miscellaneous tasks for accounting, sales, marketing or other departments.
-Organize responsibilities to ensure completion and compliance with standards.
-Additional duties and responsibilities as needed



Job Requirements

-A minimum of two (2) years sales experience and/or customer service
-Must demonstrate an enthusiastic and professional approach to all responsibilities
-Must be punctual and flexible. Calls start when shifts begin
-Weekend shifts may be required
-Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-Willing to accept responsibility for compliance with policy and procedure
-Must be able to communicate in writing and verbally with professionalism, credibility and confidence.
