We are currently in need of an IT Monitor Senior in Ann Arbor, MI. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & 60 months experience as a Data Scientist &/or Data Analyst &/or University Research Assistant. Position also requires: 1) 60 months of exp. performing data manipulation, data conversion, & data analysis using R, Matlab, & SAS softwares; 2) Exp. performing data mining including predictive analysis & pattern recognition identification; & 3) Exp. developing tools & dashboards using the following computer languages: Java, Python, & C++. Job duties: Analyze data to identify predictive patterns used to identify failed or failing health systems. Develop dashboards &/or tools needed to collect & analyze data to identify & report on system health. Develop tools & techniques for doing root cause problem analysis. Work with other IT teams to define monitoring requirements for the systems they support. Assist in defining monitoring standards for alerting, escalation, & SLA (Service Level Agreement) reporting (data collection). Develop & implement monitoring solutions for critical IT systems.
