Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Demand Analyst who provides analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve executive, administrative, and line and staff managers of complex details and advanced administrative duties. Executes special or continuous research and data analysis tasks. Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and processes orders accordingly. Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties. Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature. Assignments may be found in various functional areas.

This will be an administrative support position which will provide data analysis support for critical company business management decisions. You will have frequent interfaces with company executives, administrators, line and staff managers with summaries of the results of your research and analysis as well as you will process sales capital orders. Much of the analysis you will perform will be assembled on a continuous basis for ongoing business performance measurements. As you become familiar with the reports and data you will be expected to be able to analyze problems independently, determine the best approach to find what you will need, and prepares reports/recommendations.

You will quickly be asked to assume leadership on projects related to your analysis. You will frequently work with other departments and outside parties to collect needed information so excellent communications skills will be required. Work is generally business confidential and many times you will need to provide data for critical Business decisions with tight deadlines. You may be assigned to various functional of the organization so there will be substantial variety in the job. Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: You should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment while meeting schedule commitments. Minimum Requirements: Five (5) years of broad materials planning experience (master scheduling, production planning, procurement, inventory control) within the electronics industry. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. A technical degree or equivalent experience may be substituted. Ability to communicate with end users and internal customers as necessary to implement solutions and solve problems. Experience in a fast-paced, highly collaborative cross-functional team environment. Ability to follow and implement policies and procedures required of this position. Skills, Abilities And Other Requirements: Must be willing to perform tactical as well as strategic job requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong data analysis skills. Experience using SAP required. High ethical standards in all aspects of work. Preferences: Experience in commercial electronic instrumentation or medical device electronic instrumentation preferred. Experience with Sales forecasting preferred. Experience with traceable components assemblies preferred.
