Credit Officer

Job Description

Credit Officer will provide underwriting support for our Business Banking loans. They will partner with the Relationship Managers on new loans and renewals. Performs due diligence and Credit Agreement compliance follow-up duties, prepares credit and depository service proposals and commitment letters upon request, and responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining an assigned portfolio of business purpose loans for related credit/documentation risk following credit approval to include monitoring asset quality, renewing loans, and modifying credit requests.  Provides exemplary service to ensure customer satisfaction.   


Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.), with 5+ years’ of related experience and/or equivalent combination of  education and experience.  Previous experience in a commercial bank environment preferred. Must possess strong middle market Credit underwriting experience in C&I and Commercial RE, communication, and customer service skills.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
