COORDINATOR, MEDICATION SAFETY, QUALITY, AND ACCREDITATION:

This position will be responsible for assisting with a comprehensive medication safety and quality program as well as helping to assure compliance with accreditation standards. The Coordinator will work closely with colleagues in a wide range of clinical and administrative offices including patient care, clinical services, risk management, ambulatory care, operations, and quality.

Requirements
Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy is required. Strong clinical background in acute care setting. Previous experience with medication safety activities desired. Demonstrated knowledge in the application of performance improvement methodologies and project management. In depth knowledge of health-care delivery systems and success in working with all levels within an organization, including leadership, clinical specialists, and employees. Previous experience with data collection and analysis preferred. Demonstrated computer skills sufficient to utilize computer word processing and spreadsheet software applications preferred.
Required Length and Type of Experience
Minimum of 2 years of health care experience. Experience including project management skills related to maintaining timetables and tracking the success of project tasks preferred. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff within the complex, matrixed environment of an academic medical center.
