Silver Oaks Health Campus, a dynamic and innovative skilled nursing/assisted living campus in Columbus, Indiana, has an outstanding career opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to be our Medical Records Coordinator who is passionate about caring for the elderly and has a compassionate commitment to excellence in Customer Service.
The Medical Records Coordinator (LPN) will:
- Be responsible to maintain medical records in accordance with federal and state guidelines, as well as in accordance with our established policies and procedures.
- Organize, plan and direct the medical records section in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Record all incidents
- Collect, assemble, check and file resident charts and records
- Collect charts, and inspect them for completion
- Assist in admissions, transfer and discharge procedures as necessary
- Audit charts at policy minimum

Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the state of Indiana.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must have working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Prior experience in Medical Records preferred.
