Description Use your clinical background to develop the implementation of our EDIS system (evidence reports) which helps patients, physicians, and managed care plans customize high-quality patient care and services to those diagnosed with diabetes.

You will work with our provider organizations as they use our Internet based reporting program to track the outcomes of those diagnosed with Diabetes and utilize that data to improve their care processes. We’ll look to you to analyze client needs, create clinical workflows, develop strategies tailored to each organization, and provide guidance throughout the scope of implementation projects.  Additionally, you may interact with prospective customers (managed care plans and physicians ) during development process and assist with system content, reporting demonstrations, clinical data selection, risk assessment and scoring.

The ideal candidate will be able to utilize their clinical and technical background to:
 
  • Work closely with all levels of end-users to gather, document and develop reports including recommending options and output formatting.
  • Analyze report requests, documents report requirements, and work with programmers to design/develop standard and ad-hoc reports.
  • Provide updates and progress status reports.
  • Work with developers and programmers to secure reports based on the user role and access privileges.
  • Requirements Candidates should have a BS in Nursing, Registered Dietician, Certified Diabetic Educator,  or have similar clinical experience. Diabetes experience is a plus.

    Must have knowledge of health technology assessments and data collections.

     

    Additional requirements include:  Excellent oral and communication skills, facility with peer review and professional presentations, ability to oversee and manage development of high-quality evidence reports, excellent analytic and writing skills, current awareness of important emerging medical technologies.  Will work with diverse body of research professionals.
