Job Summary:
*Provide data analysis support to DNA product development group. Primary responsibility is processing data (dna)sequence. (not protein sequence)
*Maintain and implement timely updates of technical source documents for DNA related data and software development.
*Reports to Bioinformatics Manager
Responsibiities:
1. Maintain and provide frequent update to the store of DNA related data to ensure that the information is current with information available on IMGT, FASTA, and other sources.
2. Maintain and provide frequent update to the store of DNA related data to ensure that the information is current with information available on IMGT, FASTA, and other data sources.
3. Develop data base application tools to aid in the update and maintenance of DNA development information.
4. Support the design and development of LABType and Micro SSP kits by providing resolution analysis of DNA products, updating software reference files and developing product design tools.
5. Support the QC of DNA products by maintaining and updating the analysis tools.
6. Provide support in the restricting of the data maintenance and update process of the DNA product development group.
7. Maintain clear communication between Research, Bioinformatics and other departments.
8. This position will interact with the Research Department staff, IT staff and laboratory staff.
9.Must maintain the confidentiality of all scientific, laboratory and business data and information.
10. In addition he/she will ensure that safe laboratory procedures and protocols are followed ..

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training Experience:
*A Bachelor’s degree in the Biological Sciences.
*Training/experience in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Bioinformatics or Computer Science preferred.
* Must have good knowledge of molecular biology and immunology.
*Experience with processing data sequencing (DNA) preferred.
Technical Skills
- Software knowledge/experience with C#, VB, NET, SQL
- Knowledge of Excel(Macros).
