Nurses for HEDIS 2010 Project Needed for the Chicago, Il and Surrounding Areas.

HEDIS Project is estimated to go from March-May in 2010.

The assignment will encompass medical chart reviews from medical records. Positions require on-site reviews including traveling to Dr. Offices. This position requires working out of home office, travel to Dr. Offices, travel to Corporate site and receiving information by fax/mail.

--Must have Word and Excel
--Must have a Professional demeanor, good Work Ethic, conscientious problem solver, willing to learn, personal pride in their work, performance/accuracy, excellent verbal communication skills – clear, concise and appropriate.
--Must dress in business casual attire when attending meetings and office visits
--Willing and able to drive within the health plan network service area (approx. a 50 mile radius).
--Must have reliable transportation
--Must be able to work independently
--Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
--Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week Mon-Fri (required), with flexibility in hours needed.
--Ability to work under pressure
--Awareness of and ability to meet deadlines

CRITICAL:
-Candidates must commit to duration of project
-Must have at least 3 years of nursing experience
-Must be able to read and interpret medical records under review
-Must be a licensed RN or LPN
-Knowledge of HEDIS (Strongly Preferred)
-Basic computer skills
