Morrisey Associates, a Chicago-based healthcare software company, seeks to add an Application Specialist to its Implementation Team to roll out a proprietary web-based application to new clients. The Application Specialist’s main role will to provide training and consulting in the build, configuration and usage of the software. The Application Specialist will work together with the Morrisey’s project manager and technical staff to prepare client for Go Live.

The successful candidate will be a health care industry professional with the ability to travel and with experience in:

·    The business processes of Case Management, Denials Management, Utilization Review, Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Infection Control and/or Discharge Planning activities  in a hospital setting

·    Technical or user support of clinical applications that address the business operations  described above

·    Presentation, classroom management and software training and documentation

Advantageous:

·    Nursing degree

·    Case Management experience

·    Informatics or report writing

You will:

·    Exude a ‘can do’ attitude and coach clients toward a successful implementation

·    Conduct Application Training and Consulting remotely and on-site

·    Review current and future state work flow analysis for clients and recommend client-specific solutions

·    Conduct Acceptance Testing at client sites

·    Train and assist customers in the Build process

·    Plan and implement Train the Trainer training at client sites

·    Collaborate with the Morrisey Implementation Team to plan implementation process and rollout

·    Develop class agendas, curricula and  auxiliary training materials

·    Interface with development team on application testing and product enhancements

·    Troubleshoot issues with customers

• Up to 50 %
