We are a multi-faceted doctor’s office doing cardiovascular care, telemedicine imaging and academic research. The office is fast paced, challenging and exciting. This is a full time position. We offer parking and benefits.
Summary of Job Duties
The receptionist is responsible for the smooth flow of the front office. Duties include greeting patients, confirming the office schedules, answering and routing telephone calls in a friendly, positive and professional manner as well as insurance verification, and appying for insurance authorizations. This requires frequent communication with waiting patients and strong customer service skills. The receptionist may interact with the doctor, nurses and other employees in the medical office to enable a smooth flow in the office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, computer, and data entry/typing skills, will be able to multi-task and follow up with outstanding projects.
Requirements
Requirements:
This individual must have accurate data entry skills (able to use word-processing, spreadsheet, power point and database applications).
Good verbal and written skills as well as a cheerful, upbeat and friendly demeanor.
Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
We require a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a professional business environment. Experience in a medical office is preferred.
