RN - Clinical Operations Analyst       

The University of Kansas Physicians, the largest multi-specialty medical practice in the Kansas City area, is seeking a full time Clinical Operations Analyst to join the Department of Quality Assurance:

Works with the Chief Quality Officer and Director of Quality Assurance in implementation of practice performance improvement plans. Responsible for coordination and performance of analysis, design, development, and some QA testing, validation and implementation of documentation screens used by clinicians performing patient care.

Education: RN degree

Experience: Minimum three years nursing experience and preferred two years quality management experience, preferably in a medical practice setting;

Requirements:  Current nursing license for the state of Kansas; Current BLS; The candidate for this position enjoys interacting with clinicians, programmers, and reports used by clinical administrators and bedside clinicians; Broad exposure to a variety of clinical departments and patient care systems; Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills and able to manage multiple projects and conform to shifting priorities; Effective written, oral, interpersonal and relationship-building skills; Needs to have a solid understanding of appropriate clinical workflows; Strong customer service orientation; Ability to grasp technical information and to attend to detail.
