This is for our Pharmaceutical Client in Lake County,  North suburbs of Chicago

 Part Time Medical Technolgist needed for  various hours  2 X a month
Excellent opprotunity for retiree or stay at home mom 
Would need to travle 3 days for a training session

 This is part-time intermittent work. It is most suited for people who want to supplement their income. Request to work will be on an “as needed basis". The typical work is around 10 -20 hours once or twice a month. However, there could be a month or 2 with no work. Candidates will be expected to drive to a doctor’s offices, install an Abbott instrument, train the staff of the office and report results to Abbott. Work assignments are received from project manager as they become available. Most work sites are within 300 miles of the employee’s home. Occasional air travel might be required. Candidates must attend a 3 day training class in Dallas the week of 12/14/09 --- days of that week are still being determined. All travel time is paid “door to door". The only exception to that is when traveling to Dallas for training no travel time will be paid; only classroom time will be paid. All expenses (ex. air fare, mileage, food, and lodging) are reimbursed. Candidate should be a Medical Technologist not a Medical Technician. They must have hospital or medical clinic lab experience with hematology analyses. The typical current people doing this work are retirees, consulates and/or stay at home mom’s who desire occasional work to remain fresh with their field. Two candidates are needed for this position. One must live in the Saint Louis Missouri metropolitan area. The other must live somewhere between Orlando and Miami in Florida and preferably speak Spanish in addition to English.
