Description

Hampden County Physician Associates, a leading multi-specialty physician group, is currently seeking a Clinical Application Analyst to provide company-wide, computer-related customer service support and problem resolution in areas such as implementation and network troubleshooting, with a specific focus on clinical software applications including the Allscripts Enterprise (Touchworks) EMR application.

 

This individual will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and delivering application-training curriculum, based on best practices that utilize operational workflows, and therefore must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of end-users. Additionally, this individual will: work with other infrastructure support staff to coordinate software implementation, upgrades, and regular operation support; provide multi-level application support and training for all end-users, including providers; and provide multi-level workflow support for the EMR.

Requirements

In order to qualify, the candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • 2-years experience in a healthcare delivery setting
  • 2-years experience in medical office or practice management applications
  • Excellent problem solving, customer service, and communication skills
  • Aptitude for troubleshooting technical issues
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • A willingness to provide guidance and mentor others
  • A proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

 

A Bachelor’s degree and/or clinical background (RN/LPN), as well as 2-years experience with electronic medical record systems and prior experience in customer support and/or training preferred.
