MUST HAVE HOSPITAL AND EHR BACKGROUND!

Our client is a well-respected hospital system who is part of the largest hospital system in the country. We have been engaged to identify a seasoned Director level IS professional for the east coast area. This candidate will have superior management and people skills, hospital applications experience, and possess technical savvy in the healthcare information systems area.

Requirements

Meditech experience - implementation, installing and supporting clinical and business applications for Meditech
PMP / PMI certification highly desired
10+ years in an IT leadership role in the healthcare vertical
Demonstrated large project implementation and governance experience
Budgeting experience at a department and large project scale
Experience with both clinical and financial decision support systems
Demonstrated understanding of hospital processes and operations
Implementation of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Meditech experience
Clinical systems background desired
Strong communication skills
Member in good standing with CHIME and / or HIMSS desired.
