CLINICAL INFORMATICS COORIDINATOR/DATA ANALYST
JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE
Responsible for the support of clinical information systems in the hospital network, and is responsible for coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of the clinical information system (CIS). Serves as a resource person for the daily operational issue of the hospital’s clinical systems. Must be able to exercise sound professional judgment, communicate effectively and establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with others.
Performs other appropriate, related duties as necessary for efficient, effective operation of the Clinical Information System, which will include quality driven initiatives, and as requested by the CNO/Chief Clinical Officer
Requirements
Education
BSN plus two years experience in clinical nursing required. Licensed to practice in the State of New Mexico.
Experience Required
Prior experience in the healthcare environment (3-5 years). Demonstrated ability to function well under pressure. Previous experience with clinical information systems development and/or implementation. PC hardware troubleshooting experience helpful. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organization, analytical and interpersonal skills. This position also requires an individual who is task oriented, detailed oriented, and data driven.
