Duties and Responsibilities of Registered Nurse - RN:

• Strong critical thinking skills to diagnose clinical problems and define interventions

• Prioritize clinical problems

• Serve as patient and family advocate

• Advise intensivist of patient status change

• Provide follow up to ensure problem resolution

• Use all available resources to prevent clinical problems from occurring

• Critical Care Registered Nurse - CCRN preferred
• Current and nonrestricted nursing license, any state 
• Current ACLS and BLS
• Nursing degree from an accredited program
