Description
The successful candidate will work closely with a team of client services and medical professionals and contribute to the team by providing strategic direction and scientific review of manuscripts and other content-rich projects including slide decks, abstracts, and posters. The successful candidate will be able to understand vast amounts of scientific data and facilitate communication of that data to several target audiences.
AOI Communications, L.P. (AOIC), is a fully integrated, oncology-focused medical eduction/marketing organization, located in Exton, PA. AOIC's services include the development, implementation, and facilitation of creative medical education initiatives for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and patient advocacy organizations within Oncology. AOIC's product mix includes webcasts, publication planning, and strategic marketing initiatives. AOIC also owns and operates the CancerEducation.com website.
Requirements
Position requirements include:
- an advanced degree (MS, MD, PhD, PharmD) in a scientific or related field
- medical writing experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organizational skills
- Internet research experience
- proficiency in MS Word and Powerpoint
- Experience in oncology is imperative
- Supportive care and/or liver disease is a plus
